Problem
Breakdown of the problem
🚫
Lack of Community Engagement
Current platforms may not foster a strong sense of community interaction and engagement. There is a need for a space where users can connect, share, and discuss local matters.
📑
Limited Access to Comprehensive Local Information
Existing platforms often focus on national or international news, leaving gaps in local coverage of events, job opportunities, obituaries, and community-specific content.
🔄
Trustworthiness and Misinformation
Ensuring the content is reliable and free from misinformation is a significant concern.
🌐
Untapped Potential for Content Creators
There's a lack of platforms that incentivize and reward local content creators for their contributions, limiting the growth of hyperlocal content in Sri Lanka.
